Fergus Falls, Minnesota )( MINUTES OF TEffi MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD CF ADJUSTMENT July 2, 1987 The Otter Tail Couijty Board of Adjustment met Thursday, July 2, 1987, with the following persons in attendance: George Walter Roger Marty John Everts Craig Anderson Robert Schwartz Marcus Wiechmann Waldanar Senyk, Assistant County Attorney Tim Greip, Land & Resource Management Office LL PRESENT ■ / Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m ments or corrections to the minutes of the June meeting, declared same approved as mailed. and hearing no adjust-ALL TO ORDER IINUTES APPROVED • r The following applications for variance were considered: Luther Kristensen, Battle Lake, MN, requested permission to finish a 14' X 20' addition to garage, 1 foot from lot line, on Lot Called Lot 42 & 43, Eldorado Beach, in Section 23, Amor Township, on Otter Tail Lake. ^prove, with the statement he does not condone building without prior permit, hardship being a substandard lot with others in the area enjoy­ ing the same rights and privileges. The motion was seconded Robert Schwartz and carried upon the following vote: UTHER KRISTENSEN PPROVED After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to All voting in favor. Vernon Jungroth, Crystal, MN, requested permission to construct an 18' X 26' addition to east end of cabin on Lot 8, Philip Burseth Beach, on Wall Lake in Dane Prairie Township, 69' fron shoreline. After con­ sideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann to allow the variance behind the building line as new established, on the condition Lots 8 & 9 are combined as one piece of property. The motion was seconded by Craig Ancterson and carried upon the following vote: All voting in favor. ERNOJ JUNGROTH PPRCVED STichael R. LUCY^ ^PRCVtaJ" Michael R. Lucy, Fergias Falls, MN, requested permission to construct an 8' X 10' storage shed 130' from water, on Lot 7, Block 1, M^le View Heists, Friberg Township, on the Otter Tail EtLver. After consideration, motion was made by Marcus Wiechmann to grant variance of 70', hardship being the unique terrain of this property, with a precedence having been set be the previous granting of a variance in the area. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried upon the following vote: Yes - Wiechmann, Anderson, Whiter and Schwartz No - Marty and Everts Marilyn K. Wold, Fargo, ND, represented by Jim I'fold, requested permission to build a 24' X 30' garage, less than 10 feet fron lot line, on Lots 1 & 2, Cha Rosa Beach, Scambler Township on Pelican Lake, listening to the various interested parties, with written correspon­ dence, motion was made by i Roger Marty to ^jprove a variance of no greater than 4', no closer than 6' from the property line.
