The Otter Tail Courvtv Board of A.diustnent at 7:30 P.'l. ,
Thursday, ^’arch 15, 1979, in the Commissioners* Room, Courthouse, ^er.^us Palls-
Minnesota withCraig Anderson, Ton Donoho, Calvin Johanson, Richard Portmann
and Ocorge Walter present.
The application of Dan Reitan requesting a variance to construct
a garage on Lots 1^2, Anderson Reach, Scambler To',\'nshin, 20' from the road
v;as brought for consideration.^’otion was made by Calvin Johanson to annrove
with the stipulation a back-around, towards the house be constructed for safety
purposes and further stinulated the garage be constructed 10’ from the side lot
line to allow additional space for the bacV.-around.’'•otion w'as seconded by George
Walter and carried.
Kenneth Mukala appeared before the Board with a renuest to con
struct an 8* X 12* sauna-boathouse on his 1-nkeshore nronertv in Section 1-13.3-40,
an->fexinate Iv 30 ! '33* fro’^ the lakeshore. '’otion was m.ade bv George Walter to
allow *’r, '*ukala a 40* variance from the lake. . '^otinn -Pailed for lack of a second.
Motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded bv.Richard POrtmann and carried with
George Walter voting "no", to denv the request.
The application of Bert Ifinger for variance to construct a 12* x 20*
boat house on Eb Lot 22 and all of Lot 23 of Hcilberger Lake Estates 35* from the
lakeshore was brought before the Board for consideration.Motion wa.s made by Craig-
•\nderson to grant permission, v/ith the nrovi.sinn t^he boat house be brought back to
the brow of the hill and that construction nritexceed the demensions oiven
12* X 20* X 8* and no closer than 35* from the lake. Motion v;as seconded by George"
Walter and carried.
