Grant L. Lewis, Perham, MN, requested permission to build a 24' x 8' screen porch onto
lake side of cabin 44.6' frcm lake, on lot adjacent to lot 1, Jacob's Beach, Pelican
Ttovaiship. Jim Michaels represented Mr. Lewis. After consideration, motion was made by
Roger Marty to deny, no adequate hardship shewn, fails the "string test" by 5', with
a recommendation to construct an addition onto back of cabin, opening up front for a
screen porch. Jhe motion was seconded by John Everts and carried, with George Walter
abstaining.
Ronald G. Baoon, Fergijs Falls, MN, withdrew his request, before consideration, for
splitting of lot 10, Diversion Riverside Acres into two lots, 50,000 square feet each,
Aurdal Tewnship.
Earl E. Ames, Saint Louis Park, MN, represented by Herman Seeba, requested permission to
construct a 22' x 12' boat house two feet from lake, on part of G.L. 2, Section 36,
Friberg Township. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts to deny, no ade
quate hardship shewn, to allow said construction would establish a precedence in the
area. The motion was seconded by Roger Marty and unanimously carried.
Walter Spidahl, Erhard, MN, requested permission to acquire a parcel of land 4+ acres,
without surveyor's drawing, in G. L. 1, Section 15, Friberg Tewnship. ^plication with
