Douglas Selvaaq, Vining, MN, requested permission to split a 2.5 acre parcel. Lot
M of Auditor’s Subdivision 101, Section '36, Girard Township into two parcels of
1,12 acre and 1.15 acres without a surveyor's drawing, or be alowed to have two
dwellings on existing 2.5 acre lot.
Anderson to approve.
After discussion, motion was made by Craig

by George Walter to table for a surveyor’s drawing.

second.Motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve subject to a surveyor's
drawing with two lots with no lot being smaller than 1.2 acres,
seconded by John Everts and carried.
The motion was
Martin Holoien, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to replace an old storage shed
located 30' from the lake, on G.L 2 & 3, Section 28, Dunn Township. After discus
sion, Mr. Holoien withdrew his request,
St. James Church, Underwood, MN, requested permission to construct new church 55'
from center of road'to replace existing church which is presently located 50' from
center of road, on G.L. 8 & 5 in Section 15, Maine Township. After consideration,
motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Tom Stringer and carried, to approve an
18' variance for the new structure which will be farther from road than existing
structure, har-dship being another building located behind present structure prevents
placing farther back.
Kenneth Kugler, Erhard, MN, requested permission to construct a 9" x 10' storage
building 20' from ordinary high water mark, on Pt. of G.L, 9, Section 10, Friberg
Township. Motion was made by Trom Stringer to approve, hardship being the terrain;
and neighbors already enjoying same privilege. The motion was seconded by Craig
Anderson but failed with June Ryan, John Everts and George Walter voting "no".
Motion was then made by George Walter to deny.The motion was seconded by June
Ryan but failed with Tom Stringer, John Everts and Craig Anderson voting "no".
Motion was then made by John Everts to approve, because of the terrain of the land.
