MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT October ^ , 1987 5 K4 JThe Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met in the Commissioners. Room of the Otter Tail County Courthouse Thursday, October 1, 1987, with the following present: George Walter Craig Anderson Carl T. Johnson Marcus Wiechmann Robert Schwartz John Everts Waldemar Senyk, Assistant County Attorney Tim Greip, Land & Resource Office Chairman Walter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no objections or corrections to the minutes of the September 3rd meeting, declared same approved as mailed. The following requests for variance were heard: Philip & Adeline Seljevold, Moorhead, MN, requested permission to con­ struct a 22' X 9h' addition to cottage on Lot 7A, Survey Lots of G.L. 8 & 9, Section 1 Dora Township, 7' from lot line. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to approve variance, hardship being an existing lot of record, with lot platted non-parallel to lake, making placement of buildings a hardship. The motion was seconddd by Carl Johnson and carried upon the following vote; All voting in favor Roger F. Carpenter, Hunter, ND, requested permission to construct double garage on Lot 18 & 19, Pelican Bay Shores, ten feet from road right-of-way. After consideration, motion was made by George Walter to grant a 5' variance from the required 20’ set back, contingent upon approval of the Dunn Town Board, hardship being terrain. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried upon the following vote: All voting in favor Harold & Joan Collins, Erhard, MN, requested permission to subdivide a 404' lake frontage property into three lots, in G.L. 1 & 12, Section 10, Friberg Township. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, no adequate hardship shown, with alternatives for dividing maintaining adequate lake frontage. The motion was seconded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried upon the following vote: Yes - Walter, Anderson, Everts, Schwartz & Wiechmann No - Johnson ALL PRESENT . i , !
