Octotier 4, 1990- 2 -Board of Adjustirent
The matter of the Okerstrom request, tabled frctn the September meeting,
was again brought before the board, with a letter received from the
County Attorney on the road in questicar and title opinion. Motion
was nade by Craig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson and unani
mously carried, to table.
Curtis Christopherson, Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct
a 22* X 30' cabin with attached 12' x 22' porch, on site of current
mobile here, 5 feet feurther a«/ay from lot line than existing mobile
hone, porch in same location, on the E*5 of Lot 15, Bill's Beach,
West McDonald Lake in Eidna Township. Herb Huber appeared and spoke
to the issue. After consideration, motion was made by Carl JChnson,
seconded by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to grant as
requested, no closer to lake than existing building, hardship being terrain not allowing moving farther back, substandard lot of record.

Mary Pat Collins, Edina, MN, requested permssicn to oonstruct bedrocm
addition to existing structure on Lots 16, 17 & 18, Midland Beach,
Pelican lake in Dunn Township. Letters received were read. After con
sideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Carl JChn
son and uncinimDusly carried, to grant permissicn at no closer to lake
than existing structure, on the condition Lots 17 & 18 be coibined
and remain forever ccitbined and no other variance requests be created.

Gerald L. Larsen, Fargo, ND, requested permission to oonstruct 12' x 20'
porch to existing structure 8' from property line on Lot 6, Peach's
Silent lake Beach, East Silent lake in Dora Township. AFter consideration, motion was made by Dan Oehler, seconded by Craig Anderson and
unanimously carried, to grant the side lot varianoe of 2', building no
closer than 8’, nardship being substandard lot of record.
LARSEN - APPROVED
Donald Prepodnik, Golden Valley, requested permission to place
mobile home 100' from Spitzer Lake, on Lot 2, Block 1, Woodland Devel-
OEmsnt, 1st Md'n, Leaf Mountain Tewnship. Motion was made by Craig
Anderson, seooncted by Victor Petterson and unanimously carried, to
table for additional information.
PREPODNIK - TABLED
Roger J. Erickson, Moorhead, M4, requested permission to replace
a 10' X 22' boathouse 4' from property line on Lot 10, Northland Beach,
E>elican Lake in Dunn Township. Letters received were read, Ed Erick
son appeared and spoke to the issue. After consideration, motion was
made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Carl
Johnson voting "no", to deny, no adequate hardship shown.

construct garage 175' from Anderson Lake, on a paroel in G.L. 3,
Section 5, Friberg Township. After oonsideraticai, motion was irade
by Victor Petterson, seconded by Daniel Oehler and uianimously car
ried, to grant approval, hardship being terrain.
EEASLEY - APPROVED
[tennis D. Tuel, Fergus Falls, MM, requested permission to construct a
35' X 60' open end pole building cattle bam ^aproximately 49' from
Unnamed Lake, on part of G.L. 2, Section 32, Dane Prairie Township.
Appearing and speaking were Earl Keith Folger and Jerry Martins.
After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by
John Eh)erts and unanimously carried, to deny, no hardship shown.
TUEL - DENIED
James A. Ihcm, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to oonstruct
dwelling 122' fron Otter Lake in G.L. 1, Section 31, Candor Township.
After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by
Daniel Oehler and unanimously carried, to approve a set back of 150'
from the lake, as reoottmended by the planning conmissian, hardship
being terrain.
Etotion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Carl Johnson and unani
mously carried, to deny the application of John Moe, tabled from the
August and SefJtenber meetings.
