MINITTES CF TOE MEETING CF TOE CTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Novanber 1, 1990 TOe Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thursday, Nowenber 1, 1990, vdth the following persons in attendance; Chairman George Halter Victor Petterson, Jr. Daniel Oehler Carl Johnson John Everts Craig Andersen Tim Greip, Land & Resource Kurt Mertensen, Assistant County Attorney Chairman Walter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no changes or corrections to the minutes of the October meeting, declared same approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: Ronald Gouri^, Fargo, ND, requested permission to sell off a parcel with 100 feet of shoreline, containing approximately 45,000 square feet from a 12 acre parcel in G.L. 3, Section 38, Lida Township, on Lake Lida. After consideration, motion was made Craig Anderson, seconded by Carl Johnson and unanimously carried, to grant the request, to transfer without going through the platting procedure, however, si4)ject to submission of a surveyor's drawing; hardship being topography and a peninsula involved, sizes of lots oonforming to the subdivision controls ordinance in every feature. CALL TO ORDER MINUTES APPROVED GROUDE - APPRCWED Betty B. Scheuffele, Wat^ton, ND, requested permission to be allowed to keep a 14' canper stored on Lot 12, Oakwood Beach, Everts Township on Silver Lake, with no hook-ups. Since the applicant was not present, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by John £^;erts an! unanisNsly carried, to table. Patrick J. Wanbdee, Vinix^, MN, requested permission to sell one acre of land out of a 12.50 acre parcel in the NEftsNV^s of Section 35, ' JFolden Township, without platting and without surveying. After opn;^^ I sideration, motion was made by Craig Andersen, seconded by Victor M Petterson and vnanimously carried, to grant the request, provided the descripitian provided is in even feet and ri^t angles, and clearly definable. Mac MoBemie, Santa Ana, CA, represented ly Wesley Tweeton, contractor- agent, requested permission to construct 12' x 20' bedroom extension 85' from ordinary hi^ water mark, on Lots 5, 6 & 7, 2nd Add'n to Birch Grove, Dunn Township on Franklin Lake, ^pearing and speaking to the issue was Paul Hagen. After consideration, motion was made by Victor Petterson, seconded by Caurl Johnson and unanimously car­ ried, to deny, no adequate hardship shown. SCHEUFFELE - TARIfD ..■I-?’' MiUkk Gordon Hanson, Fergxxs Falls, MJ, requested permission to screen in area below existing deck and allow an existing storage building to remain by lake, on Lot 17, Moore's Beacii, Pickerel Lake in Mciine Township. After consideration, motion was made hiy John Everts, seoended by Craig Anderson and carried with Daniel Oehler voting "no", to deny, no adequate hardship shown. Vernon Johansen, Underwood, MN, requested permission to place a storage shed two feet from lot line on Lot 12, Augustana Beach, Otter Tail lake in Amor Township. Letters received were read and David Lundeen and Victor Lundeen appeared and spoke to the issue. After consideration, notion was by Craig Andersen, seconded by John Everts and carried, with Viertor Petterson voting "no", to deny, no adequate hardship shewn.
