Minnesota r-•c » • MmJTES CF THE MEETING CF THE CUTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD CF ADJUSTMENT Novarber 1, 1990 -iThe Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Thureday, Nowantjer 1, 1990, with the following persons in attendancet Oudman George Walter Victor Petterson, Jr. Daniel Oehler Carl Johnson John Everts Craig Anderson Tim Greip, Land & Resource Kurt Mortensen, Assistant County Attorney Oiaiiman Walter called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no changes or corrections to the minutes of the October meeting, declared sane approved as mailed. The following variance requests were heard: • Itanald Gourtte, Fargo, ND, requested permLssicn to sell offa parcel with 100 feet of shoreline, containing approximately 45,000 square feet from a 12 acre parcel in G.L. 3, Section 38, Lida Township, on Lake Lida. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Carl Johnson euid unanimously c<und.ed, to grant the request, to transfer without going throu^ the platting procedure, however, subject to submission of a surveyor's drawing; hardship being topography and a peninsula involved, sizes of lots confcanning to the subdivision controls ordinance in every feature. CALL TO OKKR MINUTES APPROVED 'X GROJDE - APPRWED Betty B. Scheuffele, Wahpeton, ND, requested permission to be allowed to keep a 14' canper stored on Lot 12, Oakwood Beach, Everts Township on Silver lake, with no hcx:k-ups. Since the c^lic:ant was not present, motion was made by Vicrtor Petterson, secmded by John Ek;erts and unanimously carried, to table. Patrick J. Wanbdce, Vining, MN, requested permission to sell one acre of land out of a 12.50 acre parcel in the NE%NV#i of Section 35, Folden Township, without platting and without surveying. After con­ sideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Victor Petterson and imanimously carried, to grant the request, provided the description provided is in even feet and ri^t angles, and clearly definable. Mac McBemie, Santa Ana, CA, represented by Wesley Tweeton, contractor- agent, requested permission to construct 12' x 20' bedroan extension 85' from ordinary hii^ water mark, on Lots 5, 6 s 7, 2nd Add'n to Birch Grove, CXmn Township on Franklin Lake. Appearing eind speaking to the issue was Paul Hagen. After consideration, motion was rede by Victor Petterscai, seconded by Carl Johnson eind unanimously car­ ried, to dery, no adequate hardship shown. SCHEUFFELE - TABIED VAMBEKE - APFRCVED V- % ■ ^McBERNlE - DENIED Gordon Hanson, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to screen in area below existing deck and allow an existing storage building to remain by lake, on Lot 17, Moore's Beach, Pickerel Lake in Maine Township. After consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Craig Anderson and carried with Daniel Oehler voting "no", to deny, no adequate hardship shown. HANSON - DENIED i Vernon Johansen, Underwood, MN, requested permission to place a storage shed two feet from lot line on Lot 12, Augustana Beach, Otter Tail lake in Amor Township. Letters received were read and David Lundeen and Victor Lundeen appeared and spoke to the issue.
