Variance for mound drain field being 50’ from ordinary high water level and 0’-5’ from property line in the NW Corner of lot. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. It was noted at the public hearing that the lot line variance is no longer required. After discussion and consideration, Michael Harris made a motion, second by Thomas Lee and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 56’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a structure 44’ from the ordinary high water level and to approve a variance for the placement of a mound system 55’ from the ordinary high water level. It was noted that two older structures as shown on the drawing will be removed. The proposed development is an improvement over the existing development. Hardship/practical difficulty is the shape of the lot and water on two sides. Paul A and Diane Halvorson - Approved the variance application as requested with a condition. (7:07 p.m.) Paul A and Diane Halvorson, part of the Southeast Quarter, Section 19 of Folden Township by an unnamed lake, requested the following; We are requesting for a 100’ setback rather than the required 200’ setback to build a house, (of as yet undetermined size), not to exceed a total of 5,000 square feet including a walkout basement and an attached garage. We are asking to build this house on the same location as the existing house which has a ground floor square footage of 1,229 square feet and a total square footage of 1,897 square feet. The audience was polled with Nathan Hanson speaking for the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Michael Harris made a motion, second by Ward Uggerud and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 100’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the placement of a dwelling (including a walkout basement) with an attached garage 100’ from the ordinary high water level with the condition that the walkout basement must face to either the North, East or West, Note - Paul Larson excused himself from the remainder of the meeting after the Halvorson hearing. David Wodrich - Approved the variance application as requested with a condition. (7:30 p.m.) David Wodrich, part of Government Lot 2, Section 3 of Edna Township by Little McDonald Lake, requested the following; Requesting a variance to subdivide Parcel 20-000-03-0011-002 (Tract C) into two back lots, one of which will be approximately 105.48 feet wide which will stay with existing Tract E (20000030011002) as identified on the drawing submitted with the application. Allan Jahnke - Approved the variance application as requested. (7:37 p.m.) Allan Jahnke, part of Government Lot 5, Section 34 of Tordenskjold Township by Stalker Lake, requested a variance of 7’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 62.5’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the replacement of a flat roof on an existing carport located 3’ from the lot line and 37.5’ from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, David Wass made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 7’ from the required side lot line setback of 10’ and a variance of 62.5’ from the require ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the replacement of a flat roof on an existing carport located 3’ from the side lot line and 37.5’ from the ordinary high water level. It should be noted that the variance as approved allows this roof to be tied into the existing boathouse roof. ^.SCANNEDFred Johnson Et Al - Approved the variance application as requested.
