Glynn in support of the variance as requested was provided for consideration. After consideration and discussion, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Thomas Lee and unanimously carried, to approve the variance as described in the variance application dated October 26, 2009 and as depicted on the drawing dated October 6, 2009 with the condition that before any permits for the proposed project can be issued the applicants must submitted a plan for approval by the Land and Resource Department that will address stabilization and restoration of the bluff area, as well as the placement and location of an appropriate retaining wall. It was noted that the variance as approved will provide the applicants with a reasonable use of their property, the same rights and privileges as others in this immediate area, as well as adequate access to the area where the home is located. It should be noted that the Board’s approval is based on the submission of an acceptable plan to the Land and Resource Department, obtaining all the necessary permits, ansUe^he-oompJe^on of the proposed project as direct by the Land and Resource Department in a timely manner.
