VARIANCE REQUESTED IS:a 2-part request as outlined below;
Item 1; we are requesting a variance to reduce the set-back from the lake line
so we can enclose an existing cement slab which is currently adjacent
and connected to our existing trailer home. This addition would be approximately
9-lOft. wide by approximately 40ft. long.
Item 2; reduceing the set-back for a garage/guest house to approximately 90ft.
from the lake line.The area where the guest house would be built is located
a hill which is approximatly 20ft. above water level and close to the frontage
road.
In regards to the drawing I wish to clarify that there is a hill that runs to
the left of the existing trailer. The neighbor to this side cannot be seen
from our trailer as this hill is considerably higher than their cottage and
our trailer.The lot line runs approximately over the center of this hill.The
cottage on this side sets down in a very low area compared to other surrounding
cottages.
We are in the process of verifying if existing sewer system is to code. If it is
not to code it will be replaced as soon as the weather allows.
Distance between sewer system and well is 50ft.

MOTION AS FOLLOWS:

Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Cecil Femling and unanimously carried, to deny a variance of 25'
from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' for a 10' by 40' addition to an existing structure
75' from the ordinary high water level as no adequate hardship had been shown. After additional discussion and
consideration, motion was made by Carl Johnson, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to table
action on the variance of 10' from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100' for a proposed garage
90' from the ordinary high water level.
