Motion was made by Cecil Femling, seconded by Dick Sha and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 20’ from
the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of an 18’ by 30’ garage 80’ from the ordinary
high water level. It should be noted that the applicant is moving his existing garage to a new site on his lot and that
the placement of the garage at this location will place the garage at a setback from the ordinary high water level which
is greater than the setback of the existing dwelling. It was also noted that the placement of the garage in the proposed
location will improve the applicant’s property and will allow better access for the maintenance of the applicant’s
existing dwelling.
