HIMN / MINUTES OF THE f^EETING OF THE OTTER TAIL COUNTY BOARD OF ATXTUSIMENT August 1, 1985 The Otter Tail County Board of Adjustment met Uiursday, August 1, 1985 with the following present; George Walter, Chairman Marcus Weichmann June I^an Craig Anderson John Everts Roger Marty George Hausske, Land & Resource Management office Wally Senyk, Assistant County Attorney Sylvia Bergerud, County Auditor Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m and hearing no changes or corrections to the minutes of the July 11th meeting, declared’same approved as mailed. • 9 The following applications for variance were considered; Timothy Walker, Walpeton, ND, requested permission to build an 8' x 12' storage shed 35' from the lake, on Lot 1, Norwood Beach, Edna Township. After consideration, motion was nade by Craig Anderson to approve, hardship being terrain 'of lot with difficulty in controlling security of personal property, Ihe motion was seconded by Marcus I'teichmann and carried with June I^cin and Roger Marty voting "no". Howard & lois Greterman, Fargo, ND, requested permission to add a top addition onto cabin which is located 30" from lot line, on Lot 2, Ballard's'Cozy Bay, Dunn Township. Faye C. Ford present, speaking against said request. After consideration, motion was made ty Roger Rferty to grant approval, substandard lot and pre-ordinance structure. The motion was seconded by John Eyerts and carried with George Walter and Jme pyan voting "no". Mian L. Kjos, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to allow a fence to remain in its present location on Lot 16, Heaton's Resort, Sverdrup Township. After consideration - motion was made by Craig Anderson to deny, no adecjuate hardship shewn. The motion was seconded by June lyan and carried xmanimously. William Parks, DBA B & P Truck & Car Wash, Perham, MN. requested permission to record a document containing a description of a parcel ,6 acre in size, without platting, in the SE3«NE% of Section 22, Perham. Township. Present and speaking were Herb Meier, seller, and Steve Perszyk, Perham Town Board Chairman. After consideration, motion was made by Craig An(terson to deny. The motion failed for lack of a second. Itotion was itade by Roger Marty to grant said variance to allow transfer of the ,60 acre parcel, if the area noted as easement road be dedicated to the public and recorded prior. The motion was seconded by Craig Anderson and carried unanimously.
