Norway Lake is close to 3 feet above the Ordinary High Water Level. The Sverdrup Town Board has always worked closely with the Department of Natural Resources on water related issues. This is no exception. I have viewed the site with them and determined they do not need a permit from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. We have discussed some measures to minimize the impact to the lake and I am satisfied they will implement those measures. You are aware of the financial situation for rural town boards. Whatever you can do for them will be appreciated. Thanks for your cooperation. Sincerely, c<- Terrence R.
