Del Ray and Karen Lecy - Approved the variance with a condition. (2:18 p.m.)
After discussion and consideration, Michael Harris made a motion, second by Carl Zick to approve the use of the total property
square footage when determining the total property area that can be used for the impervious surface calculation and noting the
followmg: 1.) the hardship is a substandard lot of record and water on two sides (same lake on both sides) of the parcel, 2.) no
more than 25% of the total property area can be covered with impervious surfaces, 3.) granting this approval will not increase the
overall runoff into the lake. This motion failed with Paul Larson, Randall Mann and Leona Zimmerman voting no. After additional
discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Michael Harris and carried with Leon Zimmerman voting
no, to approve the use of the total property square footage, based on current measurement of the property, when determining the
total property area that can be used for the impervious surface calculation and noting the following: 1.) the hardship is a
substandard lot of record and water on two side (same lake on both sides) of the parcel, 2.) no more than 22% of the total property area canj3e<r6vere^ith impervip^ surfac^

Commencing at the South Quarter Section Corner of said Section 1; thence South

Section 1 a distance of 276.70 feet to a found iron monument on the Easterly Line of
Lot 1, Block 2 of TRADEWELLS WOODLANDS SECOND ADDITION, on file and of
record in the office of the County Recorder in and for Otter Tail County, Minnesota;
thence North 12®45'10 " East along said Easterly Line a distance of 11.20 feet to a
found iron monument on said Easterly Line; thence North 04“27'10" East along said
Easterly Line a distance of 661.26 feet to a found iron monument on said Easterly Line;
thence North 06°30'10" East along said Easterly Line a distance of 658.77 feet to a
found iron monument marking the Northeast Corner of said Lot 1, Block 2; thence North
