A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Trites to deny, reasons
as follows: 1. Allowing this would be precedent setting and
is inconsistent with past practices. 2. The responsibility
for maintenance is an issue and it may be hazardous to the
area. 3. This is very similar to a controlled access, which
we have been very scrutinizing on in the past. 4. A better
solution may be a DNR Public Access, therefore we would
encourage the DNR to evaluate the feasibility of
establishing a Public Access on the lake.

owners of the property the easement is appurtenant to. No vehicles shall be
permitted to park on the easement. No docks or other facilities shall be constructed
upon the easement or the shoreline of North Turtle Lake at the terminus of the
easement, and no use other than the launching of boats shall be made of the
easement. The owners of the benefited estates shall be responsible for the
maintenance of the easement.

Re: Application for Conditional Use Permit For the Establishment
of a Boat Access on North Turtle Lake
Dear Bill:
Please find enclosed the application of Taylor Investment Corp. for
the establishment of a boat access on North Turtle Lake. In addition
to the application with attachments, please find enclosed 10 copies
each of the subdivision plat and the location drawing regarding the
proposed access. It is my understanding that the access will follow a
private driveway located on Lot 1 of Subdivision 117 to the point of
intersection with a previously existing road which terminated at the
shoreline of North Turtle Lake.
I will be attending the hearing on behalf of Taylor Investment Corp.
It is my understanding that this matter will be set on for the June
10th meeting.
