(8:20 p.m.) Patricia and Steven Pranke, Lot 8 and part of Lot 9, Maplehurst, Lake Lida in Lida Township, requested the following: a variance request to split Parcel A (as shown on the survey drawing filed in the County Auditor’s office) and convey it to James F. Thompson, to be attached to Lot 10. This would decrease Lots 8 and 9 by 1,324 square feet and increase Lot 10 by 1,324 square feet. This would be done to fulfill purchase agreement condition of May 18, 2004. October 4, 2007 Meeting - Cindy Nelson represented the applicants at the public hearing. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, Randall Mann made a motion to approve the variance as requested. It was noted that the variance as requested would establish two parcels more equal in size, would allow room for a future septic system site and does not negatively impact either parcel. The hardship that was noted was substandard lots of record. After additional discussion and consideration the motion to approve was withdrawn and Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to table with the verbal permission of the applicants’ representative this variance hearing until the November 1,2007 meeting of the Board of Adjustment to provide the applicants an opportunity to consider the relocation of two existing sheds which are located very close to the property lines.
