Members of the Becker County Board of Comnissioners appeared before the Board along with the Becker County Solid Waste officer relative to Becker County's participation and/or acceptance of the solid waste agree­ ment. No formal action taken. SEMI-TRAILER 3IDS ' r 30LID WASTE Douglas Ackling, Perham, appeared before the Bcaard together with Mary Lu Estlick of Autumn Agency, Inc., Pejjham with a proposal for the sale of the Ackling Building in Perham, now being occupied by several Otter Tail County offices, for a total list price of $270,000, including furniture and accessories in the court room and judge's chamber. Chairman Nordgren appointed Sydn^ Nelson, Mel 0. Olson, Eugene Davenport and Mike Kirk to a exannittee to e><plore the matter and make recdunendations to the Board Upon motion made by Andy Lindquist, seconded by Bert Hovland and unanimously carried, the follcwing resolution was adopted: RESOLVED by the Board of County Cemmissioners of Otter Tail County Minneso­ ta, that WHEREAS, on July 10, 1984, the County Board accepted the bid of Stromseth Construction, Watertown, SE in the amount of $261,252.35 for grading and aggregate surfacing on C.R. #124 between CSAH #33 and CSAH #35, and WHEREAS, the above contract has new been cxrtpleted to the satisfaction of the ccunty board a: . total cost of $272,006.57, an increase of $10,754.22 due to overruns on .vjgregate surfacing and eejuipment rental hours, NCW, IHEREFDRE, BE IT RESOLVED, the County Board does hereby authorize and direct the County Auditor to issue a warrant in the amount of $13,600.33 payable to Strcxnseth Construction as final payment for this work. Members present were: Frank Lachowitzer, Reba Lee, Vic Petterson, Lambert Schilling, Jourdan Sullivan, Robert Schwartz, David Trites, Richard Portmann, June Ryan, Cecil Femling. Michael Kirk, County Attorney's Office also present. A motion by Portmann, second by Sullivan to approve the minutes of the July 17, 1985 meeting as mailed. Passed: Voting: All members in favor. A motion by Sullivan, second by Schilling to approve the conditional use application of Cynthia Skalsky, dated July 3, 1985 on Silver Lake, No. 56-302, RD, Sec. 28 of Everts Twp. for a period of twenty-four (24) months subject to review and if there are no problems at that time she does not have to come back to the Planning Commission; and the business can not be sold at its present location.
