Upon motion made by Thomas Donoho, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried, the minutes of the October 18th, 1979, meeting were approved. The following applications for variance were considered: Joe W. Witwicke, Route #2, Battle Lake, MN requested permission to build a 10' X 10 storm and storage shelter inside of bank approx. 25' from highwater mark on Lot 7, Oakwood Beach, Everts Township. Motion was made by Calvin Johanson, seconded by Thomas Donoho and carried to grant said variance. Hardship - property in question cannot be put to a reasonable use if used under the conditions allowed by the official controls; the plight of the landowner is due to circumstances unique to his property not created by the landowner. Jack S. £ Delores J. Goodrich, Route #2, Barnesville, MN, requested permission to place sewage system. 100' from lake instead of the required 150', on a parcel lo­ cated in G.L. 1 of Section 34 - Star Lake Township on Dead Lake. The application was tabled for additional information from the Land 6 Resource Management Office, the Department of Natural Resources and sewer installation contractor. Upon motion made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Calvin Johanson and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
