Mitchell S. Olson and Mitchell S. Olson Tst - Variance application approved as requested. (9:22 p.m.)
Mitchell S. Olson and Mitchell S. Olson Tst, Lot 1 Block 2 of Bradbury Beach, Leek Lake in Candor
Township, requested the following: I am proposing to have Lot 1 Block 2 of Bradbury Beach declared
buildable for single family residential use. Bradbury Beach was recorded on May 11, 1972. This lot
currently does not meet the size requirements for a back lot which needs to have 300’ of lot width and
80,000 sq. ft. of lot area. Please note that this lot is currently developed with structures, with a well and
septic systems. The property is a year around home and has been occupied as that structure for many years.
I purchased the property in Jan 2005 upon returning from Iraq and retiring from the military. Thank you for
your consideration of this project. Michael Nygaard also appeared with the applicant. The audience was
polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration,
Steve Schierer made a motion, second by Paul Larson and unanimously carried, to declare Lot 1 Block 2
Bradbury Beach a buildable lot for single family residential use. The variance as approved is consistent
with past actions of the Board of Adjustment and will provide the applicant with a reasonable use of his
property. The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variance for the proposed
and/or future development.XT?
