The Board of Adjustment considered the following applications for variance: Sterling and Patricia Tucker - Approved the variance as requested. (6:30 p.m.) Sterling and Patricia Tucker, Lot 15 Silver View Park, Silver Lake in Everts Township, requested a variance of 30’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a 12’ by 26’ garage 70’ from the ordinary high water level. One tract would contain approximately 250’ of frontage and two acres of area and the other tract would contain approximately 550’ of frontage and 3 acres of area. The minimum size required for metes and bounds parcels within the shoreland area is 5 acres and the minimum size required for platted lots within the shoreland area is 200’ of frontage and 80,000 square feet of area. June 1, 2006 Meeting - The audience was polled with Jourdan Sullivan speaking in opposition to the variance as requested and expressing concern with the amount of development on natural environment lakes within Otter Tail County.
