After discussing the project, the consensus of Planning Commission was favorable. Proposed Tower Structure: Bill read a letter from Terracon Consultants, Inc. (dated March 3, 2015) regarding a proposed tower structure. Due to the location of the proposed structure being in a Non-Shoreland Area, the Planning Commission did not have any comment on the proposal. There is an existing approach approximately 110 feet west of the proposed approach. This serves the Silver Lake Trail which provides access to our property as well as the Ross property and others. Another approach could interfere with drainage of melt water and rainwater. Water currently pools in the area of the proposed approach. Adding an approach could result in a "berm" or change of elevation on the Silver Lake Trail. This could make passage to our property impossible for some vehicles. We need access for normal use by residents as well as emergency vehicles, construction vehicles, snow plowing, septic pumping and other vehicles. We try to be considerate when using the Silver Lake Trail. It serves about seven properties and we must be assured of continued access to our property.
