The property is described as Lots 2 and 3, Silver View Park, Silver Lake in Everts Township. The Land and Resource Department, prior to the scheduled meeting, had determined that a variance is not required for the applicant’s proposed development. James and Carol Callahan - Approved as modified. James and Carol Callahan, Northfield, MN, requested a variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the addition of an 8’ by 36’ screened patio 40’ from the ordinary high water level and a variance of 24’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for a. 12’. by 42’ addition, for a 16’ by ^ 24’ addition and for a 12’ by 15’ addition to the back side of the existing 30’ by 36’ structure with the proposed additions being at least 76’ from the ordinary high water level. Rick Bladow, the applicant’s contractor appeared along with the applicants at the public hearing. The audience was not polled, as there was no one in attendance at the time of this hearing. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Randall Mann, second by Steve Schierer and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 50’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the addition of a screen patio 50’ from the ordinary high water level and a variance of 24’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for a 12’ by 42’ addition, for a 16’ by 24’ addition and for a 12’ by 15’ addition to the back side of the existing 30’ by 36’ structure with all of these proposed additions being at least 76’ from the ordinary high water level.
