It was noted that the removal of the existing boathouse and granting the proposed development is an overall improvement to the property. We are also asking for a variance of 5’ from the lakeside, 3’ from the string line and a variance of T from the west lot line, to build additions on our bedroom and kitchen. We propose building an 18’ by 10’ addition to our bedroom with a 3’ by 18’ extension to the west. We also propose building an 8’ by 15’ addition to our kitchen which does run the string line.” The property is described as Lots 3 and 4, Palubicki’s Beach, Little Pine Lake in Gorman Township. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the request. A letter from Warren and Gretchen Larson opposing the applicants’ request was read for the record. After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, seconded by Rod Boyer and unanimously carried, to approve the addition of part of Lot 4 to Lot 3 with the condition that a registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided and with the condition that the existing structures on Lot 3 and 4 must be at least 10’ from the proposed lot line and a variance to approve the proposed additions with the condition that the additions will be no closer to the ordinary high water level than the existing structure and with the condition that the additions must be at least 10’ from either the current lot line or the revised lot line. Douglas J. Martin - Approved Douglas J. Martin, Minneapolis, MN, requested a variance of 130’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the placement of a dwelling no closer than 70’ from the ordinary high water level and a variance of 80’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 150’ for the placement of a septic system no closer than 70’ from the ordinary high water level.
