Chairman Walter, opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m following persons in r i,:,endance: -*« 'rf'George Walter Roger Marty John Inverts Robert Schwart'i: Marcus Wiechiurm Tim Greip, Land & Resource Wally Senyk, Assistant County Attorney Hearing no changes to the minutes of the March 5th meeting. Chairman Walter declared same approved as mailed. The following variance requests were considered: Stan G. Fetters, Fergus Falls, MN, requested permission to construct garage 2' from property line, on Lots 11 & 12, Deer Lake Beech, on Deer Lake in EVerts Township. After consideration, motion was made by John EVerts,to deny,, ho adequate hardship shown, vould be setting a precedence in the area with a building this close to the property line, and there are viable alternatives for the building placement. The motion was seconded by Robert Schwartz and carried upon the fol­ lowing vote: - All voting in favor. with the• f MINUTES APPROVED STAN FETTEIRSjk'^ DENIED STAR LAKE BIBLE CAMP WITHDRAWN Star Lake Bible Canp Association, represented by Chester Engehretson, requested permission to relocate a building, requestihg a 20' variance from the road right-of-way setback requirements, on Star Lake, at Elysium Park, Stair Lake Township. After seme discussion, the request was withdrawn. JOHN WARDALE DENIED John Wardale, Perham, MN, requested permission to place removable screens under deck, on Lot 9, St. Lawrence Beach, Etish Lake, in Rush Lake Township. Present and speaking was Paul Kositzky. After con­ sideration, motion wasmade by Roger Marty to not consider as no material evidence has been presented to change a previous decision of denial. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried upon the following vote: Yes - Walter, Marty, Everts, Wiechmann No - None Abstaining - Schwartz. 5
