Approval of Minutes seconded Portmann and unanimously carried to approve the minutes ofMotion by Stone October 5, 1993 as submitted. U.S. Fish & Wildlife Don Kleven of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service came before the Board regarding a fee purchase of 80 acres from Barnard H. and Emily J. Eggen of Fergus Falls, MN. was tabled until October 19, 1993, for Commissioner Lindquist's recommendation. The matter Pelican Group of Lakes Improvement District Motion by Windels, seconded Stone and unanimously carried to name Commissioners Lee, Portmann and Lindquist to select a Board of Directors for the Pelican Group of Lakes Improvement District. Waste Reduction Week Sximmarv Marie Tysdal, Public Information Officer, provided a Waste Reduction Week Summary (September 27 - October 2) . She indicated school activities which had taken place at the Fergus Falls Middle and elementary schools as well as discussions at the Pelican Rapids High School Wellness Class. Media coverage was also reported. Tysdal indicated about forty-five County employees toured the recycling center.
