Meeting of the Otter Tail County Planning Commission was held on July 20, 1977
at 7j30 p.m. in the Court House, Fergus Falls, Minnesota 56537.
Members present were; Beck, Lindquist, Portman, Leitch, Ryan, Estes, Jacobson,
and Lee. HarlanNelson also present.
Passed:A motion by Lindquist, second by Jacobson to approve the minutes
of the July 6, 1977 meeting, adding that Lee was present at the
last meeting.
Voting: All members in favor.
A request was made by John Frank, Star Lake, 56-385, Section 9
of Star Lake Township to withdraw his application for Special
Use. A new proposal will be made.
Passed:
Voting: All members in favor.
A motion by Leitch, second by Lee to approve the Special Use
application by John Lindquist, dated June 22, 1977 on Hetland
Lake, 56-394, Section 8 of St. Olaf Township.
Passed:
Voting: All members in favor.
Passed:A motion by Portman, second by Jacobson to approve the Special
Use application by Ed Clausen, dated June 28, 1977 on Star Lake,
56-385, Section 14 of Star Lake Township provided there is no
drainage on adjacent lots.
Voting: All members in favor.
Passed:A motion by Portman, second by Ryan to have the location of
Keith Inwards, Scalp Lake, 56-358, Section 7 of Hobart Township
viewed by Lenius and Krohn for their recommendation.
Voting: All members in favor.

A motion by Lindquist, second by Lee to approve the Special Use
application by Lorenzo Trajano, dated June 30, 1977 on West
Battle Lake, 56-239, Section 25 of Everts Township.
Voting: All members in favor.
Passed:A motion by Portman, second by Lindquist to approve the. variance
application by James Ales, dated July 7j 1977 on West Battle, 56-239
Section 32 of Girard Township provided the sewer system is updated
and follows the correct setbacks with utility building put up last
year.
Voting: All members in favor.
