As you will see from the enclosed copy of the minutes from the May 13, 1998 Planning Commission and your Conditional Use Application, your request was approved with conditions. As indicated in the approval, your request was approved as presented, provided the approach onto the Township road has a good line of sight and must be approved by the Township; it was also noted that that there will be 2 culverts (one in the approach and one in the lower area). Prior to our Office issuing the Conditional Use Permit for this road, we need written approval from the Township as indicated in the motion. The approval is subject to conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission. Position Authorization Amended Land & Resource Director, Bill Kalar, requested authorization to hire a temporary inspector instead of technician based on changing situations with staff in the office. Motion by Portmann, second by Lindquist, and unanimously carried to amend the motion of April 7, 1998 to authorize a temporary inspector position rather than the former authorized temporary technician position.
