A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Lee to approve the conditional
use application of Carol Shelton. Lone Pine Lake, 56-322, NE,
Section 14, Dead Lake Township as presented. Sandy Fethen
represented the application.
Approved;
Voting; All members in favor.
The conditional use application of Richard C. Falen, Scalp Lake,
56-358, RD, Section 7, Hobart Township was tabled to the July 5,
1989 meeting as per the request by Mr. Falen (letter in file).
Tabled;
A motion by Lachowitzer, second by Lee to approve the conditional
use application of Dick Dertinger, Rush Lake, 56-141, GD, Lot 1,
Block 1, Pioneer Acres to allow taking 2' off the ridge (must
leave a 1' berm on the ridge), the trees/stumps must remain on
the ridge; the applicant may place some sand approximately 12' -
15' landward of the ridge in a low area if he desires.
Approved;
Voting; All members in favor, except Stringer voted no.
A motion by Olson, second by Petterson to deny the conditional
use application of Wayne Nordick, Deer Lake, 56-298, RD, Pt. of
G.L. 1, Section 6, Everts Township as presented; reasons being
the environmental impact to the fragile bank and also that this
project would set a precedent in this area.
Denied:
Voting; All members in favor.
A motion by Stringer, second by Petterson to approve the
conditional use application/preliminary plat of Ted_Kunza^
"Heath-Nick (Pleasant View Estates", Big Pine Lake, 56-130, GD,
Section 4, Pine Lake Township and Section 33, Corliss Township
with the following conditions; 1. Proposed Lot 21 is to be
eliminated and become part of Lots 20 & 22 - each lot must have a
buildable site. 2. There are to be "backlots" on the other side
of the road that correspond with the lakeside lots - the lots are
to be a minimum of 40' in length and a maximum of 50'; except for
Lot 21 - it need not have a "backlot". 3. The surface drainage
on the Whispering Sands end of the subdivision shall be so there
is not any drainage onto Outlot A or onto Lot 1 of Whispering
Sands. 4. The road is to be constructed to the satisfaction of
Pine Lake and Corliss Townships specifications. Terry Anderson,
Surveyor, represented the application; Arnold Rosen (Chairman),
Ed Stake, Vern Lubitz & Marlin Zeiler Corliss Twp. members
indicated that they would vacate the existing road should the new
road be constructed to their specifications; Larry Buchholtz,
Pine Lake Twp. was present and expressed concerns.
Approved;
Voting; Lee abstained and all other members voted in favor
except Lachowitzer voted no.
