If we have to move them into the locations they want,that would cause considerable inconvenience. We ask that the request of this arrangement be approved for the following reasons: 1. We bought these two lots in the spring of 1986. Before we bought them we checked with Shoreline Management about parking two units on these lots. We were told that there was no problem as long as we had two lots. We drew out the locations of those two units and they issued us site permits. 2. In the spring of 1987 we put in a sewer system. 3. Later on in the spring of 1987 Shoreline Management notified us that we would have to park on separate lots. 4. We talked to Shoreline Management about the problem and they indicated we either had to file for a variance or re-split the lots so that they could continue to be parked as is. They said as long as a re-split of the lots was recorded at the courthouse and it indicated the units were on separate lots there would be no problems. 5. We than filed a corrective deed to split the lots as per their advice. 6. They than told us that since the lots were on one deed they wouldn't be considered separate lots. I understand that I have applied for a variance from the requirements of the Shoreland Management Ordinance of Otter Tail County.
