MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
Motion was made by John Everts, seconded by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to
convey 15.65’ from the westerly edge of Parcel “A” for permanent attachment to the adjacent property and a variance
to convey the westerly 40’ of Parcel “C” for permanent attachment to the adjacent property with the provision that a
registered surveyor’s drawing must be provided. The granting of the variance request will provide the adjacent
property owner with a more standard sized lot and with public road access. The b^nce of the appN_cafit’s property
will meet or exceed the size requirements for platted lots on a general developmei ^e. ^

Clarification - James B. Crouse - July 3,1997 Board of Adjustment Meeting.
Clem Henrickson, Surveyor, appeared on behalf of james B. Crouse to request an amendment and/or clarification of
the Board of Adjustment’s action of Thursday, July 3, 1997. Clem Henrickson explained that due to the slant/angle in
the front and rear property lines a conveyance of 17.16’ instead of the approved 15.65’ is needed in order for the
adjacent property owner to end up with a parcel having 100’ of width and water frontage. After consideration and
discussion, motion was made by Craig Anderson, seconded by Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to approve
changing the July 3, 1997 motion to reflect 17.16’ instead of the previously approved footage of 15.65’. It was noted
that the change in the footage did not significantly change the original variance as requested or the intent of what was
originally approved.

All that part of Government Lot 4, Section 3, Township 133, Range 40, Otter tail County,
Minnesota, described as follows:

Commencing at the southwest corner of said Section 3; thence on an assumed bearing of East
along the south line of said Section 3, a distance of 490.83 feet; thence on a bearing of North a
distance of 1328.07 feet; thence North 00 degrees 14 minutes 45 seconds West a distance of
155.68 feet; thence North 79 degrees 44 minutes 51 seconds East a distance of 84.32 feet to the
point of beginning of the land to be described; thence North 79 degrees 49 minutes 08 seconds
East a distance of 80.14 feet; thence North 00 degrees 15 minutes 45 seconds East a distance of
387 feet more or less to the shoreline of Otter Tail Lake; thence southwesterly along said
shoreline to the intersection with a line which bears North 00 degrees 30 minutes 12 seconds East
from the point of beginning; thence South 00 degrees 30 minutes 12 seconds West a distance of
385 feet more or less to the point of beginning. Containing 0.69 more or less.
