THIS WILL BE USED FOR PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.
Request to replace older water/boat accessoiy storage shed (6x6’) with new one (8x10’) in same position on the
lot as old one has been for approx. 30 years. Set back is 23’ from lake/high-water mark in compliance with
current requirements, but set back from side property line is 7’. Lot width is 80’, which makes it impossible to
meet the current lot-line set back of 40’. Request variance approval to keep shed on previously used site
because it is between t\\ o trees in a line of trees along that side of lot, providing an unobtrusive position, while
still maintaining its use as a water/boat accessory storage unit. This position is also in proximity to neighbor’s
boathouse, which is also near the property line (see diagram).
Also request to continue to maintain two sheds as they were when property purchased 16 years ago
near lake replacing old one, and existing tool shed near back of lot - also in place for approx. 30 years.— new one

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT REGARDING THIS MATTER.

Motion
Steve and Margo Liberda - Denied. (8:40 p.m.)
After consideration and discussion, Paul Larson made a motion to approve the variance as requested. The motion
died for lack of a second. After additional discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion, seconded by
Cecil Femling and carried with Paul Larson voting no, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship
unique to the property had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested and there is
adequate room to place the proposed structures 75’ from the ordinary high water level and 10’ from the side lot line.
