be 4’ to 6’ wide to connect with retaining wall. French drains on both sides of property line

& feather out to French drains and lake front. Approx. 163.7 yds^. The proposal is located

Tim Alan Bigelow - Approved With Conditions:
A Conditional Use Permit Application (as stated by the Applicant on the Application): We reguest
permission to build a block retaining wall along the bank on the beach, due to erosion.
Proposed wall will be 75’ long, T wide, 3’ high. Backfill will consist of pea gravel and sand
“washed”. Standard rip rap in front of block wall to prevent erosion and protect from ice.
Backfill will be approximately 33 cubic yards. Project will be similar to neighboring Lot 7
(see attached CUP #6463) approved August 8, 2007. The proposal is located on Eureka
Beach Lot 9, Section 13 of Elizabeth Township: Jewett Lake (56-877), GD.
Denise L. Bigelow represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Gill, second by Trites to approve as presented provided vegetation is
established landward of the wall; Land & Resource must be notified prior to starting the
project. Voting: All members in favor.
Tom Madden (Brent Schleske, Buyer) - Approved With A Condition:
A Conditional Use Permit Application (as stated by the Applicant on the Application): Proposing to
construct a 300’ driveway that is 24’ wide, utilizing dirt borrowed onsite, terraced for erosion
prevention. Borrow area - cut/excavate 1014 cubic yards & use the fill for the road. Road -
use 1066 cubic yards of fill for the road for a total of 2,080 cubic yards. Detailed map on file
with Land & Resource Management Office. The proposal is located on Bridgeview Lot 8,
Section 27 of Friberg Township; West Red River Lake (56-711), NE.
Brent & Brenda Schleske and Wayne Evavold (contractor) represented the Application.
Motion: A motion by Kinzier, second by Schwartz to approve as presented. Land &
Resource must be notified prior to starting the project. Voting: All members in favor.
