Stephen S. Fjoslien - Approved with condition.
Motion was made by Cecil Femling, second by David Holmgren and unanimously carried, to approve a variance to
place a septic holding tank 2.5’ from the lot line and 30’ from a wetland with the condition that the iDuilding between the
garage and the lake must be removed before a permit can be issued for the installation of the holding tank. It was
noted that the removal of this structure would be an improvement to the property. Hardship is a substandard lot of
record.

Dear Alice Townsend
You own the lake lots East of the one that I own on Star lake. We are in the process of up
grading our property. Would you please sign a variance so that we could place a holding tank
closer than ten feet to our common property line. The holding tank would not be placed closer
than two and one half feet from our common property line and in no way would the tank be
placed on or touching your property.
Thank you in advance for signing this variance which would facilitate our ability to up grade
our lake cabin.
