SPECIFY VARIANCE REQUESTED Upon inspection I was told the septic tank was too close to the house, and it was not cement. It was indicated to me they were't sure about the distance to the water. An excavation contractor and I examined the lot. He figured that with the new septic tank and room for adequate drain field we would need to put the tank 10 feet from the house and 130 feet from the waters edge. Because of the lot size this is the best alternative available. If this doesn't meet the statutes, I am requesting a variance to install a new septic system at these measurements listed. 10 feet from the house-- 130 feet from the waters edge. I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE APPLIED FOR A VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE SHORELAND MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE/SUBDIVISION CONTROLS ORDINANCE OF OTTER TAIL COUNTY. I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT OTHER PERMITS MAY BE REQUIRED, IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT LAND & RESOURC^ylVlANAGEMENT REGARDING THIS MATTER. 7/.
