After consideration and discussion, Darren Newville offered the following motion, which was seconded by Rick Wilson and unanimously
carried, to approve the detachment of Lot 5 Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision from Lot 4 Oak Haven Beach with the condition that Lot 5
Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision must be permanently attached to Lot 3 Oak Haven Beach and with the condition that Lot 6 of Olson’s Oak
Haven Subdivision must remain permanently attached to Lot 4 Oak Haven Beach. It was noted that the original intent of the lots in Olson’s
Oak Haven Subdivision was for permanent attachment to the lake lot directly across the road. The approval of this request is consistent with
past aetions of the Board of Adjustment and is in agreement with the original intent of Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision. The variance as
approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for future development of these properties.

After consideration and discussion, Paul Larson offered the following motion, which was seconded by Thomas Lee and
unanimously earned, to approve development as proposed in the variance application dated November 23, 2016 and as depicted
in the drawing submitted with the application with the condition that dwelling must be placed 75’ from the ordinary high water
level and with the condition that the deck can extend no more than 8’ towards the lake (deck must be 67’ from the ordinary high
water level). The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed development.
The proposed development must meet all other setback requirements.

Dennis & Corlys Carlbloin, Lot 4 Oak Haven Beach and Lots 5 and 6 Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision, Tamarac Lake in
Scambler Township, requested the following: Lots 5 and 6 of Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision are permanently attached to Lot 4
of Oak Haven Beach. I propose to detach Lot 5 of Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision fi'om Lot 4 of Oak Haven Beach and
permanently attach Lot 5 to Lot 3 of Oak Haven Beach with a transfer of ownership of Lot 5 to the owners of Lot 3, Chad D.
Carlbloin and Kristen L. Carlblom. The application was represented by Demiis Carlblom. The audience was polled with no one
speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, Darren Newville offered the following
motion, which was seconded by Rick Wilson and unanimously carried, to approve the detachment of Lot 5 Olson’s Oak Haven
Subdivision from Lot 4 Oak Haven Beach with the condition that Lot 5 Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision must be permanently
attached to Lot 3 Oak Haven Beach and with the condition that Lot 6 of Olson’s Oak Haven Subdivision must remain

Kelly and Michelle Klostermaii - Variance application approved as requested with conditions. (7:03 p.m.)
Kelly & Michelle Klostermaii, a metes and bounds parcel in the rear of Lots 16 through 19, Eldorado Beach, Otter Tail Lake in
Amor Township, requested the following: Proposing to split off a 120’ by 181.5' piece to be permanently attached to Parcel No.
02000230179000. The proposed split is on the non-riparian portion of the lot. The remaining 120’ by 181.5’ will stay with the
riparian Lots 16 and 17. Parcel No. 02000230178000. The proposed use will be nonresidential. Currently there is a shed and a
lean to shed, which will be removed no later than August of 2018. Both non-riparian lots will be buildable for nonresidential
purposes. The application was represented by Kelly Klostermaii. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the
variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, Paul Larson offered the following motion, which was seconded Rick
Wilson and unanimously carried, to approve the proposed subdivision as described in the variance application dated February 14,
2017 and as depicted on the drawing submitted with the variance application with the condition that the existing structures
described in the application for removal must be removed on or before September 30, 2017 and a registered surveyor’s drawing
must be provided at the time of conveyance. It was noted that the two back lots will be permanently attached to lake lots directly
across the highway and the backlots will be used for nonresidential development.
Thomas Holdeman - Variance application approved as requested with conditions. (7:10 p.m.)
Thomas Holdeman, part of Government Lot 5, Section 28 of Maplewood Township by Crystal Lake, requested the following:
We are requesting to subdivide the existing parcel of 4.29 acres into two parcels. Parcel B1 to be approximately 2.57 acres and
Parcel B2 to be approximately 1.72 acres. Both parcels are for single family residential use. Access to both parcels will be
provided by existing recorded easements. The application was represented by Thomas Holdeman, Cyndy Gustafson and Becky
K. (not sure of the spelling for the last name). The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as
requested. A letter from H. Dean and Delores Jorgenson in support of the applicant’s request was read for the record. After
consideration and discussion, Steve Schierer offered the following motion, which was seconded by Thomas Lee and unanimously
carried, to approve the proposed subdivision with the condition that the parcel identified on the drawing submitted with the
variance application as Parcel B#2 must have at least 80,000 square feet of area, both Parcel B#1 and Parcel B#2 must have
recorded easements for ingress and egress to each of the respective parcels as necessary, a registered surveyor’s drawing must be
provided at the time of recording and Parcel B#1 must have at least 200’of lakefront and lot width at the required building
setback. It was noted that the additional square footage necessary for Parcel B#2 to reach 80,000 square feet can come from
proposed Parcel B#1 or from Parcel A (adjacent to the east and north side of proposed Parcel B#2). The variance as approved
does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed or future development of these two parcels.
