After discussion and consideration, Thomas Lee made a motion, second by Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to deny the
variance as requested as no adequate hardship/practical difficulty had been shown that would allow for the granting of the
variance as requested, the denial is consistent with past actions of the board and the applicants can obtain a reasonable use of
the property without the granting of the variance as requested.

Scott and Ivy Detusch, Lot 7 Block 1 Western Exposure, Pete Lake in Scambler Township, requested the following;
Garage height will be 24’ AYa". Using toft for sleeping quarters and storage. The audience was polled with no
speaking for or against the variance as requested. An email from Mike ad LouAnn Zurn in support of the variance as
requested was read for the record. After discussion and consideration, Thomas Lee made a motion, second by
Michael Harris and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested as no adequate hardship/practical
difficulty had been shown that would allow for the granting of the variance as requested, the denial is consistent with
past actions of the board and the applicants can obtain a reasonable use of the property without the granting of the
variance as requested.
With no further business, Steve Schierer, Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at 9:32 p.m.

My wife, LouAnn and I live 2 lots from Scott and Ivy Deutsch's lot that they are asking a variance to build a garage on.
We do not have any problems with their variance request and I just wanted to let you and the commission know our
feelings on this matter.
We won't be able to make the June 12th variance meeting so I figured this email would be sufficient.
