A motion by Stringer, second by Schwartz to approve the conditional
use application of Malcolm McMillan on Vinge Lake, No. 56-402, NE,
Sec, 17 - 18 of St. Olaf Twp. to fill between point A & B on map
in area not wider than 8 feet subject to submission to the Land
& Resource Management Office in writing, of approval for the filling
from the Corp. of Engineers and the Department of Natural Resources;
fill to a level of 6 inches. Timothy Mounts spoke to the Commission.

Voting; All members in favor, except Lachowitzer.
A motion by Stringer, second by Petterson to approve the conditional
use application of LaVern Johnson on West Battle Lake, No. 56-239,
GD, Sec. 26 of Everts Twp. subject to no part of the excavation for
the walkout will be closer than 50 feet measured on the face of the
slope from the ice ridge; excavation from that point and going land
ward back to the point staked which is 90 feet from the lake and
maximum cut of 5 feet; east and west side of slope will have finished
grade of no.less than 4 to 1 slope. Material removed from excavat
ion will be placed on back of lot. Cut area must be sloped toward
the house - not the lake; maximum with of cut is 50 feet.

Upon motion made by Hub Nordgren, seconded by Bert Hovland and unani
mously carried, the following resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Otter Tail County
Minnesota, that
WHEREAS, the proposal on S.A.P. 56-614-06, etc., permTts the County
to add work to said contract, and
WHEREAS, additional work can be done under the following conditions:
1. The contractor will do the work at the contract unit price.
2. ""he contractor will do the work at the same standards as the
contract.3. One-half extra working day will be added to the contract.
4. The contractor shall not make claim of any kind or character what
soever, for any other cost or expense which he may incur, or which he may hereafter incur, in performing the work and furnishing
the materials covered by the agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, additional work shall be added at
a cost of $495.26, with Premier Aggregates, Virginia, MN.
