Charles and Cynthia Koenig - Approved the request as modified with a condition. (6:50 p.m.)
After discussion and consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and carried with Michael
Harris voting no, to allow placement of a new dwelling no closer to the ordinary high water level than the established
building line to the east (to the left as you are facing the lake) with the condition that no more than 25% of the total lot
area can be covered with impervious surfaces and noting that during the discussion the applicants voluntarily offered
to remove an existing 8’ by 8’ shed which is currently located T from the lot line. It was noted that the applicants
have adequate room to place the proposed development in line with the established building line to the east. The
variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances.

Thursday, July 5, 2007
The Otter Tail County Board, of Adjustment met Thursday, July 5, 2007, with the following persons in
attendance:

Called to Order - Randall Mann, Chair called the meeting of the Board of Adjustment to order at
6:30 p.m.
Minutes Approved -
The Board of Adjustment approved the minutes of the June 14, 2007 meeting as mailed.
The Board of Adjustment considered the following applications for variance:
Richard and Susan Neameyer-Tabled. (6:33 p.m.)
Richard and Susan Neameyer, Lots 19 and 20 Bowery Beach First Addition, Pelican Lake in Dunn
Township, requested the following: Setback from road right-of-way is 20’. We will be 8’ on one corner and
13’ on other corner. ,58’ from center of road: and 63’ on other corner. Variance requested is 12’ at closet
point for the construction of a 22’ by 22’ garage. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or
against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Steve Schierer made a motion,
second by Paul Larson and unanimously carried, to table, with the verbal permission of the applicants, this
public hearing until the August 2, 2007 Board of Adjustment meeting to allow the applicants an opportunity
to consider other possible alternatives and to seek additional assistance with their plan from the Land and
Resource Management Department.

discussion and consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, second by Steve Schierer and carried with
Michael Harris voting no, to allow placement of a new dwelling no closer to the ordinary high water level
