The audience was polled with no one speaking for of against the variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Paul Larson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 37.5’ from the required ordinary high vyater level setback of 75’ for the replacement of an existing 14’ by 61 ’ mobile home,with a 28’ by 52’ modular home 37.5’ from the ordinary high-water level with the following conditions; 1.) the new dwelling must be at least 10’ from the septic tank, 2.) the new dwelling must be at least 20’ from the road right-of-way and 3.) no more than 25% of the total lot area can be covered with impervious surfaces. It was noted that the proposed dwelling will be outside of the shore impact zone and that it will be further from the lake than the existing dwelling. Hardship is a substandard lot of record. Lee and Dawn Gibbish - Approved as requested with a condition. (8:22 p.m:) Lee and Dawn Gibbish, Lot 2, Bay View, South Turtle Lake in Sverdrup Township, requested a variance of 50’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of an RV trailer 50’ from the ordinary high water level. The audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After consideration and discussion, motion was made by Steve Schierer, second by Paul Larson and unanimously carried, to approve a variance of 40’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 100’ for the placement of a .12' by 38’ RV trailer 60’ from the ordinary high water level with the condition that before a site permit can be issued the old house and shed must be removed.
