MOTION AS FOLLOWS:
MTime;
Motion was made by George Walter, seconded by John Everts and unanimously carried, to deny
the addition of the deck to the existing guest house. The Board stated that no variances
should be granted for improvements to structures that are prohibited by the current
ordinance. After additional consideration, motion was made by John Everts, seconded by
Randall Mann and unanimously carried, to deny the addition to the boathouse as no adequate
hardship had been shown and the granting of the variance would permit a structure that is
contrary to the provision of the ordinance. After additional discussion and consideration,
motion was made by George Walter, seconded by Randall Mann and carried with John Everts and
Leslie Estes voting no, to approve a deck on the existing boathouse having a 3' railing and
a 2' 9* overhang on the sides. It was noted that the deck was
existing boathouse roof to address safety concerns. *
