Board of Adjustment - 2 May 7, 1987
Wallace G. Behm, Morris, MN, requested permission to build an addition
to present building on Lot 1, Coney Island, West Battle Lake, Girard
Township, 42 feet from lake. After consideration motion was made by
Craig Anderson to approve application of the "string test", allowing
building towards the lake no closer to lake then neighbors on either
side, to existing striacture. The motion was seconded 1:^ Marcus Wiech-
mann and carried upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.

IMPROVED
Alton E. Anderson, Erhard, MN, requested permission to construct a
24' X 30' garage 5' from lot line, 37' from Heilberger Lake, on Lot
1 of Bill-Ra-Al Acres, Friberg Township. After consideration, motion
was made by Roger Marty to grant a 63' variance, or 37' from lake,
hardship being a substandard lot and terrain, should have reasonable
use of property. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried
upon the following vote:
All voting in favor.

F. A. Rick, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to rebuild on
foundation where structure was destroyed by fire, on the NW 30' of
Ttoussaint Heights, Pelican Lake, Scambler Township, 6' fron northwest
property line, 2' from southeast property line. After consideration
notion was made by Marcus Wiechman to deny, no adequate hardship
shown, with other uses of property available without variances. The
notion was seconded by George Walter and carried with the following
vote:

Tomny Reff, Fargo, ND, requested permission to construct screened
porch , and to allow a metal store shed to remain as presently located
on the S 60' of the N 550' of Lot 5, Wly of CSAH #31 in Section 3,
Lida Township. After consideration, motion was made by Roger Marty
to approve screened porch as is located on a substandard lot, hardship
being unique shape of property, with the best site! as located. The
motion was seconded by Robert Schwartz and carried upon the following
vote:

Motion was then made by Craig Anderson to deny the shed location, no
adequate hardship shown. The motion was seconded by George Walter
and carried upon the following vote:

Harbld Neuschwander, Ottertail, MN, requested permission to divide a
220' X 300' parcel into two lots, out of S.L. 7 & 8, Section 23, Rush
Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by Craig Anderson
to approve, meets all requirements of platting and can be described
as set forth by the county commissioners. The motion was seconded by
Marcus Wiechmann and carried ipon the following vote:
Yes - Everts, Anderson, Walter, Schultz & Wiechnann
No - Marty
