The variance is requested because a screened in porch is within 30 feet of an edge of a bluff. The reason for the variance is to make modifications to the screened in porch. These modifications would include reducing the size of the screened in porch by 4 to 5 feet so as to increase the amount of land between the edge of the bluff and the screened in porch. In addition the present structure has a flat roof which drains to the edge of the bluff We would like to pitch the roof with drainage to take place away from the edge of the bluff Support for the porch would continue to be 4x4 posts on pads and there would be no foundation.
