Board of Adjustment - 3 -June 5, 1986
Charles Holtgrewe, Detroit Lakes, MN, requested permission to install
a drywell on property to serve as a cesspool for a sewage system on
Lot 3, Maple Lane Beach, Dunn Tcwnship. After consideration, notion
was made by Victor Petterson to grant approval, hardship being terrain
of property. 'The motion was seconded by Roger Marty and carried upon
the following vote:

dwelling 175' from ME lake, on pt. of SE^sSV^ of Section 11, Buse Town
ship. After consideration, motion was made ty Marcus Wiechmann to
approve the requested variance of 25' from set back requirement of
200', due to unique topography and abnomally high water. The motion
was seconded ty Victor Petterson and carried \jpon the following vote:

Patricia Irvine, on behalf of applicants Glenn Nelsen, Henry Smith
and Gordon Hilsman, requested permission to re-align lot; lines, in
G.L. 1, Section 26, Rush Lake Township. Motion was made George
waiter to rescind the motion on the matter that was made at the April
3rd meeting. The motion was seconded by John Everts and carried tpon
the following vote:

the property lines to conform to location of buildings for the sake of
correcting and conforming to side lot requirements. Ihe motion was

mission to construct family room onto existing cabin, 57' frcm lake
on Lot 2, Pelican Beach, Scambler Tcwnship. After consideration,
motion was made by Jdan Everts to approve a variance using the "string
test" allowing building no closer to the lake than the neighbors on
either side. The motion was seconded by Victor Petterson and carried
upon the following vote:

Veryl K. Johnson, Henning, MN^ requested permission to build an 8' x 10'
storage building fifteen feet from shore, on Pt. Lot 5, Section 21,
Leaf Lake Township. After consideration, motion was made by John
Everts to deny for lack of hardship. The ^plication was then with
drawn by Johnson prior bo a secbhd.
Arthur H. Wagener, V\Iaconia, MNJ requested permission to split a 2.01
acre parcel with 400' of lakeshore, in G.L. 1, Section 15, Edna Tcwn
ship, into two equal metes_^d bounds description parcels. Also
appearing was JceEsser. After consideration, motion was made ty Victor Petterson, to approve prodded the split results in two buildable
sites requiring no furttiei: variances, each lot having no less than 150'
shoreline, 200' deep, apcarpanied by a surveyor's drawing. Hardship
being practical disposal of a remnant piece of property. The motion
was seconded by Marcus Wiechmann and carried ij^xan the following vote;
