William Thompson stated that his main objection is to jet skis (they are dangerous). Alvina Lillibridge (has a resort on the lake), expressed concerns regarding the use and management. Roger Hanson spoke in favor of the request & indicated that the lakes belong to the public. Jackie Eidpiller objected to the request (environmental concerns). Brad & Jean Nelson expressed concerns regarding traffic (vehicle and boat). Motion: A motion by Trites, second by Maske to table, at the Applicant’s request, to October 9, 2002 to: 1. Resolve the concern expressed regarding the numbers of units allowed by the Shoreland Management Ordinance. 2. Allow the Applicant provide a plan to minimize the impact on the bluff area. 3. Allow the Applicant to consider a reduction (from revised plan) in the number of proposed units. 4. Allow the Applicant develop a plan addressing a centralized docking area. 5. Allow the Applicant develop a plan to address the potential for run-off onto neighboring property. 6. Allow the Applicant to consider the relocation of the driveway and approach off of County Highway #4. 7. Allow the Applicant to develop a plan addressing a recreational facility/playground area.
