living onsite, occupying approximately 800 sq.ft, out of 3500 sq.ft, total. Max seating 28

conditions: 1. A design for a compliant septic system is approved by Land & Resource prior
to issuing the Conditional Use Permit. 2. The Applicant is responsible for dust control on

to ground for the pedestrian traffic. 5. The owner/operator must reside onsite. 6. The sign

Otter Tail County Highway Department - Approved As Requested:
A Conditional Use Permit Application (as stated by the Applicant on the Application): Project No.
S.A.P. 056-627-014, reconstruction of CSAH 27 from North Woodland Drive to CSAH 10,
4.337 Miles. This 4.337 mile segment of CSAH 27 was last surfaced in 1986, which is the last
date that any major work has been done on this roadway. The date of original grading is 1958.
The existing highway is deficient in cross-section, design speed and pavement section
structures. The proposed project will be constructed to current Mn/DOT State Aid Standards
and will provide a safer and more efficient highway. Detailed project plans are on file at Land
& Resource Management and are available at the Otter Tail County Highway Department. All
needed easements and permits will be obtained prior to construction. The project is located
on County Highway 27, From a point 222 feet South of the Northwest Section Corner of
Section 26-T133N-R43W to a point 1358 feet North of the South east Section Corner of
Section 34-T134N-R43W (CSAH 27 from North Woodland Drive to CSAH 10). From Station
56+50 to 98+40 is within the Shoreland Area, totaling 4,190 feet; Unnamed Lake (56-862),
NE.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter to give you my intentions with the 5.09 acres of land on/by Tamarac Lake.
I started by clearing out an area not knowing that I needed permits to do so. The area that is
cleared iis 23,446 square feet.
I started a contract for deed with my neighbor 6 years ago for this spot of land. A couple of the
neighbors on Tamarac tried to buy the property out from under me for more than I was paying.
My Fargo neighbor told them no, so they came to me. I told them they might be able to buy
some of the land from me. Three years later we lost 11.4 acres to the DNR. I had to tell the lake
neighbors that I would not be able to sell any of the land to them now. After that someone called
in anonymously telling Land and Resource that they better come out.
My brothers have helped me with all the physical labor done at the lake due to my physical and
mental disability. I want my brothers and his two boys, my other brother and his wife and kids,
and my wife and four kids to be able to keep enjoying the lake and making wonderful memories.
I will pay my dues and permit fees so that can happen.
We have a 20 foot motorhome and two 39 foot campers on the lot. Each of the 39 foot campers
will have a 10’x20’ deck. The motorhome will not have a deck. There is also a 8x10 storage
shed. I have everything staked out on the property for you to see. As far as the property go, we
are done doing what needs to be done other than cleaning up all the dovmed trees.
Begging for forgiveness and pleading for the permits required.

Comment on Application for Madelyn Runck Tamarac Lake 48393 Pikes Beach Road Pelican Rapids.
Hearing date June 20, 2018 at 7:30 pm. I am unable to attend the hearing.
I received the notice of the hearing for the above property. My concern is the number of campers with
no sewer or water access. I am unaware of the campers leaving the property to empty sewer or add
water. My other concern is the lake access from their property, it is an area filled with lily pads, bird
nesting including loons. I certainly want everyone to have access to the lake and be able to enjoy.
Please consider these concerns when reviewing this application. Thank you.

48393 Pike Beach Road. As Property owners we along with everybody else on Tamarac Lake DO NOT
approve of this. The applicant moved in and did whatever they wanted to. And with the campers what
did they do with the sewage? They put up NO Trespassing Signs yet go swimming in front of Lake
Property Owners and use docks that don't belong to them. So, with that being said we say NO NO NO to
