As you can see there are currently two homes and two campers on the property already. This is asking for a total of 3 dwellings and there are currently four. For sure if there are more bedrooms, then there needs to be more sewage, this is a given by the rules of the county where the bedrooms set how large of sewage system that is required. I don't want a trailer park in my neighborhood but rather fixed buildings that raise the asset value of all properties which leads to more tax revenue for the county and positive improvements for all. The Ishaug girls have a parent just east of this property on summer haven road for access to the lake. There already are a number of children walking down the road to and from the grandparents on the lake. I love kids and would never harm any kid not matter where, but that road is driven by many and those individuals might not feel the same. This will maybe lead to more of the same as this trailer park grows if approved. Please reply your receipt of my displeasure for this variance. Best Regards, Kevin Biffert M+1 701 367 9288 / 1 Brenda Ronnevik - Variance for the residential dwelling approved as requested and the variance as requested for nonresidential structure denied. (6:45 p.m.) Brenda Ronnevik, Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quartei', Government Lot 7 and part of Government Lot 8, Section 3 of Carlisle fownship by an unnamed lake, requested the following: We are requesting a variance to build a residential dwelling and nonresidential structtire with a setback of 140' from tmnained lake. Therefore, we ask for a 60’ variance from the required 200’ setback. Nonresidential structure size is a maximum of 12’ by 20’ in size for storage purposes. Appearing with the applicant was Rolf Ronnevik, the applicant’s spouse, 'fhe audience was polled with no one speaking for or against the vai iance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Thomas Lee made a motion, seconded by Paul Larson and carried with Chris McConn abstaining, to approve a variance of 60’ from the required ordinary high water level setback of 200’ for the placement of a residential dwelling 140’ from the ordinary high water level and to deny the variance as requested for the nonresidential structure noting that there is adequate area to place nonresidential structures in locations that will comply with the setback requirements. The hardship/practical difficult is the topography of the applicant’s property. It was noted that the proposed residential site is located between two rows of trees (wind breaks) and the property is part of the original farm site. The variance as approved will allow the applicant to enjoy the same rights and privileges as others in this immediate area. It was also noted that the proposed 12’ by 20’ nonresidential structure meets the size requirements for a water-oriented accessory structure and could be placed closer than 140’ from the ordinary high water level; therefore, this portion of the request was denied which will allow the applicant the ability to place nonresidential structures in locations that comply with the ordinance requirements. The variance as approved does not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for proposed or future development. Claudia Pranihus - Variance application approved as requested. (6:50 p.iii.) Claudia Pramhus, Lot 6 and part of Lot 7, Char Rosa Beach, Pelican Lake in Scambler Township, requested the following; Remove failing decks and stairway to lake. Replace with metal deck structure and open grate metal stairway. Move upper deck from 8’ to ordinary high water level to 22.5’ to ordinary high water level. Keep lower deck at 0’ to ordinary high water level but lower square footage from 121 square feet to 70 square feet. Take upper deck from 230 square feet to 215 square feet. Take house patio from 660 square feet to 700’ square feet. Total impervious from 37.3 1% to 37.30%. Shore impact impervious from 1 100 square feet to 1098 square feet. The applicant was represented at the public hearing by Matt Moen, Contractor and by her son-in-law (Chuck), project manager. The atidience was polled with no one speaking for or against the variance as requested. After discussion and consideration, Paul Larson made a motion, seconded by Brent Frazier and unanimously canied, to approve the variance as requested in the application dated May 16, 2017 and as depicted on the drawing submitted with the variance application. It was noted that the proposal is needed maintenance to the property and is also needed to address safety concerns. The variances as approved do not directly or indirectly grant any other variances for the proposed project or for any future development. Ishaiig LLC - Tabled.
