Enclosed are two photographs of the area in question, wants to place the drain field in the flower garden. Mr. Braun As the County Highway Engineer, 1 do not think this is a good idea because the right of way is intended for highway purposes and is needed to properly maintain the highway both now and in the future. However, there ,is no objection to any underground utilities being placed up to the right of way line. In many cases, this is all that is needed. If there is not sufficient room to do this, then alternative action should be taken. Sin^rely, Dennis D. Berend County Highway Engineer DDB:cd ends.
