September 13, 2001 Meeting - After consideration, motion was made by Randall Mann, second by David Holmgren
and unanimously carried, to table the applicants’ request until the October 4, 2001 meeting of the Board of
Adjustment. October 4, 2001 Meeting - A letter from Glenn A Renfandt individually and on behalf of Jeanne Walker,
Tom Thompson, TOm Sonday, Peggy Tobin and Ruth Connelly in opposition to the requested variance was read for
the record. A message from Rick West, Highway Engineer expressing concern with the precedence that would be
establish if the variance was granted was read for the record. The audience was not polled, as there was no one in
attendance at the time of this hearing. After discussion and consideration, motion was made by Steve Schierer,
second by Linda Bergerud and unanimously carried, to deny the variance as requested noting that had a variance
been requested prior to the construction of the privacy fence the Board of Adjustment would not have approved a 19’
variance.
