Craig AndersonAbsent: 1Chairman Walter opened the meeting at 7:00 p.m., and hearing no objec­ tions or corrections to the minutes of the May 1st meeting, declared same approved as mailed. ’all to Order linutes Approved The following applications for variance were heard: Frank E. Tucker, Areata, CA, represented by Fen Stahnow, reqv^sted per­ mission to split a 200' lake frontage lot, 264 feet deep into two par­ cels to allcw construction of a guest house on a parcel in G.L. 2, Section 20, Girard Township. Motion was made by Roger Marty to table for more infomation as to total square foot area of land above the high water mark. The motion was seconded by John Everts but failed with the follcwing vote: Yes: Roger Marty No: George Walter, Victor Petterson, John Everts and Marcus Weichmann 'rank Tucker Denied I Motion was then made by Marcus I4eichmann to deny, no adequate hardship shewn. The motion seconded by Victor Petterson and carried on the follcwing vote: Yes: George VJalter, Victor Petterson, Marcus Weichmann Roger Marty and John Everts June Tatbut, Pelican Rapids, MN, requested permission to split a 4.96 acre parcel located in the NE% of Section 14, Scambler Township, into two parcels, one with 1.75 acres and the other 3.21 acres. After con­ sideration, motion was made by Roger Marty to approve, no precedence being set, there would be a practical difficulty in carrying out the letter of the law, with reference points for the division of property already available. The motion was seconded by Victor Petterson and carried on the following vote: Yes: George Whiter, Victor Petterson, Roger ^ferty, Marcus Weichmann Jehn Everts No: une Tabbut ^^proved NO: Johnny Torgrimson, Dalton, MN, requested permission to construct a screen porch at 65 feet from lake, on the EH of S.L. 2 and all of S.L. 3, G.L. 4, Section 3, Saint Olaf Township. After consideration, motion was made by Marcus tfeichmann to grant variance at a set back no closer to lake than existing building, meeting side lot requirements.
